Renaissance Library Calendar 2010

Here's a picture of the front cover. The front cover of the 2010 edition
of the Calendar shows the Vyssi Brod Abbey Library, Theological Hall, in
Vyssi Brod, Czech Republic. The Vyssi Brod Abbey Library was built 1750
mostly by the monks themselves.
The 2010 Calendar contains two libraries each from Sweden
and the UK and one each from Brazil, the Czech Republic, France, Germany,
Ireland, the Netherlands, Russia and the USA.
To celebrate the tenth
anniversary, we include this year the library that gave rise to the idea
of the Renaissance Library Collection. It was a visit to the Library of
St Nikolaus Hospital in Germany that was the inspiration for the collection
of beautiful old libraries, and we have featured it as the library for
December 2010.

From Pamela James,
California, USA
"On two separate occasions, about a week apart, I
ordered the 2006 wall calendars. One for myself and one for my cousin.
Both orders arrived so quickly! Within a week. And both items were in
perfect condition. (Your excellent and speedy shipping is truly
noteworthy!)
"The calendars are breathtaking. The elegant photographs
of the libraries featured in the calendar actually defy description. I
could not have asked for a more perfect gift (for myself and others).
Your Shop has incredible gifts for anyone, especially all of us
library and book lovers the world over. I don't remember how I found
your web site and signed up for the mailing in the last year, but I'm
sure I was searching libraries and books or perhaps you are featured in
an ad at one of the many book-related sites I have bookmarked. ... When
I received your mailing about 2006 calendars I rushed to your site and
ordered the first one. What remarkable locations and brilliant
photographs.
"Thank you for the extraordinary work you do via your web site and
for the exquisite gifts you have made available to the world. I will (forever)
be ordering other items from you, not only for myself but as gifts as
well. Thank you so very much!"
From Jean Block, Columbus, Ohio, USA
"Yes, our 3 calendars arrived in a timely manner and in
good condition. They are really beautiful to look at and the history of
each photo/library is much appreciated. We know our friends will love
them too.
"My sister-in-law, who is a librarian, included your web site in
her “Neat new stuff” column. You may already know that, but I
thought you might like to know where we heard about you. Her own web
site is www.marylaine.com.
"Again, thanks for producing such a wonderful calendar for history
and library buffs."
From Thais Turner, Blue Mountains, Australia
"Thanks, I received the 6 Library Calendars last week or
so and they are wonderful - keep making more. I didn't know there were
so many gorgeous Library buildings out there, all over the world."
From Christine Giannoni, Chicago, Illinois, USA
"Good Morning ... The calendar is fantastic! I have had
many positive compliments about it and many have asked where I purchased
it from. I hope to use it as a travel “wish list.” I can’t wait
until next year’s calendar is released!"
From Natalie Wardle,
Saitama, Japan
"Thank you for another beautiful calendar. I'm looking forward to
admiring the wonderful libraries each month, as I have for the past 2
years. The shipping was amazing. Even though I'm now living in Japan, it
seemed only a matter of days before I received my order. Thanks again
and all the best in 2006!"
From Maureen Hill, Dorset,
UK
"Yes, I have received the calendars and cards, thank you.
They are absolutely beautiful and arrived very quickly. I ordered
similar last year and they have been a great delight to many people.
Your hard work is much appreciated."
